Tadpole Trouble

A 2D top-down maze game developed in Unity, focused on character-driven gameplay, environmental puzzles, and systemic animation control. When an industrial factory begins poisoning a fragile swamp, three frog sisters set out to dismantle its machinery. Each sister has a unique ability: flight, poison attacks, and tongue-based interaction, requiring players to strategically switch characters to overcome enemies, traps, and puzzle challenges. Try it out and see if you can save the swamp!

Technical Overview

A top-down 2D PC game built in Unity with C#, focused on enemy fighting and puzzle solving. The project includes core systems for player movement, combat, puzzle solving, UI, and game flow, with an emphasis on responsive gameplay and maintainable code architecture. Systems were built to be modular and easy to expand, using events to keep logic organized and iteration fast. The project was designed around clean gameplay implementation, and future scalability. This project taught me new skills including gameplay programming, architecture, collaboration and debugging. It also taught me the importance of player feedback and maintainable systems.
